Arafest was set up by Mike Aramayo and his wife to help raise funds for charities that work with underprivileged children in Hull and the East Yorkshire area. The work these charities do through music and the performing arts is even more important now in these uncertain times as the mental health of children and young people is being severely affected.
Arafest raises its main funds through a music festival and a Christmas Ball both of which have been affected by the lockdown restrictions. Arafest is now turning its attention to lots of different ways of raising funds, one of which is to ask people to nominate them through the Amazon charity Smile when shopping on the Amazon site.
On your desktop device simply go to smile.amazon.co.uk and select Arafest as your charity of choice. Smile will then direct you to Amazon.co.uk where you can shop as normal. Amazon will donate to Arafest on your behalf with every purchase with no added cost to your shopping.
If you use the Amazon app on your mobile device access settings through the main menu and activate Amazon Smile, choosing Arafest as your chosen charity.
