Solar Panel Investment cuts Carbon Footprint

We have recently invested over £215,000 on the installation of 700 solar panels on the roof of part of our Lancashire facility.

The panels will generate 12 percent of the energy the company uses and help it reduce its carbon footprint. The investment was supported by funding from the Nelson Town Deal.

We received a grant of £100,000 to support the work under the Business Resilience and Growth Project, which received £2 million from the Government’s Levelling Up Fund.

Our Managing Director Mike Aramayo said: "We are grateful for funding to make this project possible. We take our responsibility to the environment seriously and fitting solar panels to our warehouse represents a significant milestone in our journey towards reducing our carbon footprint."

As part of our commitment to the environment and sustainability, we have also made significant investment in LED lighting and electric vehicles.
