Safety First

We’ve made a lot of changes to the way we operate on site

The pandemic has forced a lot of businesses to reassess the way in which they work and operate. In order to reopen and allow employees to return to work in a safe environment many new measures have had to be put in place to reduce the risk of COVID-19 and help maintain social distancing and we are no exception.

During the lockdown frequent meetings were held where each area of our 4 sites was assessed and altered to make sure it was the safest way to work possible. Here are just a few of the examples of the measures we have put in place:

• Hand sanitising stations set up throughout the factories - employees are encouraged to wash and sanitise hands at every opportunity.

• Facial recognition clocking in/out machines – our old system relied on fingerprint ID but now there is no need to touch anything when signing in/out.

• Partitions in all offices and on the factory floors – sectioning off each area of work helps maintain social distancing of 2 metres.

• One-way systems in many areas – this is to control the flow of people coming in and out and moving around the factory, ensuring that no area becomes crowded with people.

Visitors to our factory or showroom will be required to make an appointment with the person or department they are coming to see. We will then send an email to you with a questionaire which must be filled in and returned to the email shown at the bottom at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.
When arriving at Buoyant please report to reception and sign in there first.
